Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering with a market leading business based in Renfrewshire in their search for an Accountant to join on a 9 month contract following a period of internal promotions. My client are searching for a driven and motivated part-qualified accountant to join their dynamic team. This role will be operated on a hybrid basis of 3 days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Conducting financial analysis and variance reporting.
- General ledger accounting.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
- Business partnering with operational leaders who are often based at different sites.
Previous Experience
The successful candidate will likely be part-qualified through ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting certification. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of an established team. You will have experience in month-end closes. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is key as is strong communication and business partnering skills.
