Iconic Resourcing present a range of fantastic opportunities within Accounts & Business Advisory Services across Assistant Manager/Manager/Senior Manager level to join an award-winning Chartered Accountancy Practice in Glasgow.
The firm has experienced significant growth in recent years which has made them one of the UK’s leading accountancy practices. They are a family of over 6,500 employees and work across over 80 offices in the UK alone. As a result of this growth, they seek to add to their Accounts & Business Advisory Services team to their successful, close-knit team.

How will you fit?
Are you ready to take on a new challenge where you will be managing a varied client portfolio from a range of different sectors and will lead in day-to-day client contact? You will also have a natural interest in mentorship/line management and be keen to develop these skills further. In your role, you will be reporting directly to a Partner.
You’ll add value to the team as an Assistant Manager/Manager by:
- Being fully CA/ACCA qualified with experience of working in an Accountancy firm
- Reviewing annual accounts, corporation and personal tax computations, management accounts and P11d’s prepared by team members
- Being involved in the detailed preparation for larger/complex clients requiring strong technical knowledge.
- Having strong communication skills and ability to build solid working relationships with clients and your wider team
- Line managing and mentoring members of the team to develop your leadership experience
- Being experienced in reviewing the work of junior staff and comfortable providing feedback
- Being able to co-ordinate and plan workloads to meet client demands, whilst considering team resource and abilities
- Having a problem-solving mindset and being commercially aware to spot opportunities for business development or cross selling other service lines
You’ll add value to the team as a Senior Manager by:
- Be ACCA/ICAS/ICAEW qualified with demonstrable experience working in a similar position within an Accountancy firm
- Working closely with local Partners to drive the success of the department
- Working closely with clients to understand their business needs and ensuring they are provided with a personal and tailored services
- Managing a client portfolio as well as driving forward growth plans, maximising new client opportunities and cross selling other service lines
- Understanding the importance of team work and supporting and developing existing staff members
