Iconic Resourcing presents a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts & Business Advisory Services Senior to join an award-winning Chartered Accountancy Practice in Glasgow.
The firm has experienced significant growth in recent years which has made them one of the UK’s leading accountancy practices. As a result of this growth, they seek to add an Accounts Senior to their successful, close-knit team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that really cares about employee development, wellbeing as well as putting client service front and centre.
How will you fit?
Are you ready to take on a new challenge where you will be working to produce more complex annual statutory accounts for clients while starting to offer advice on best practice and recommendations for partner review? In addition, you will be providing support to your clients from an accounting perspective as well as working with more junior team members as a mentor to answer day to day queries and guide their journey.
You’ll add value to the Accounts team through your experience in:
- Preparing monthly or quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of clients
- Reviewing and submitting VAT returns
- Preparing statutory financial statements
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
- Providing systems advice to clients, evolving into systems conversion, implementation, setup & training.
- Liaising with clients to meet targets and deadlines also ensuring a high level of client service is delivered.
- Identifying issues and taking proactive approach to reaching solutions.
- Mentoring the junior members of the team and supporting the managers in achieving department targets.
