Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance Division have partnered with our highly successful Construction client in North Lanarkshire as they seek to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis. My client have built a solid reputation within the industry for providing a high standard of service, and have been leaders in their industry for over 25 years.
Reporting into the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing purchase & sales ledger, payroll and various finance functions. Key areas of the role will surround:

Processing high volume purchase ledger invoices and expense invoices, ensuring these are processed in a timely and accurate manner to agreed terms

Investigating and reconciling purchase ledger queries

Supplier statement reconciliations
-
Ensuring that all invoices are matched accurately to PO's.

Ensuring that the subcontractor ledger is managed accurately, processing CIS deductions as and when necessary

Setting up new suppliers and preparing payment runs

Raise invoices/credit notes to customers

Process end-to-end payroll for 160 employees across the Group on a weekly and monthly basis, ensuring RTI and auto-enrolment regulations and requirements are adhered to

Performing bank reconciliations

Performing cash allocation
To be successful in this role, it's important that you hold the following experience:

Minimum 3 year's experience within a similar role

IT literate with strong MS Excel & Sage 50 + Sage 200 experience (TRAMPS system knowledge would be advantageous)

Excellent communicator who is able to work well within a team

Ability to work well within a fast-paced, high volume role

Good attention to detail skills
