Iconic Resourcing presents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a leading independent Accountancy firm in Glasgow.
If you are looking to take on a newly created position where there is significant scope to shape the role to your own strengths/preferences as well as be part of a close-knit, friendly, and supportive team, then this could be the perfect role for you.
Due to the size of the team and overall success of the business, there is scope for progression and study support for a professional qualification (AAT/ACCA) on offer.
How will you fit?
Do you have experience in using Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel?
You’ll add value to the Accounts team by:
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns using MTD compliant software as well as preparing quarterly bookkeeping records
- Managing various workflows at the same time and being confident in dealing directly with clients
- Focusing on supporting clients with software queries (Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)
- Working as part of a support team on a general portfolio of clients
