Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance Division have partnered with a well-established and highly reputable client in Glasgow, who are a successful family-run business boasting over 15 entities across the Central Belt. With a current annual turnover of >£470mill and consistent year-on-year growth, they are seeking to appoint an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. Please note - this role will be fully-office based, eventually moving to a more hybrid working model.
This role would suit candidates who have hold strong experience of both purchase and sales ledger, within a fast-paced environment career. Key areas of the role will entail:

Purchase ledger duties - processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements

Performing the daily cash banking
-
Processing and allocation of bank payments
-
Bank reconciliations and cash reconciliations
-
Review the weekly sales ledger to identify aged debt, escalating where necessary
-
Month-end duties
The criteria for this role includes:

Minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar role
-
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Ability to work within a fast-paced and high-volume environment

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills

Strong IT proficiency
