Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance Division are proud to be partnering with one of the leading technology companies within Oil & Gas as they seek to appoint an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, 12m FTC with potential to move to a permanent contract within their Dunfermline offices.
Our client have been leading the way with their technology aimed at helping their customers in reducing carbon intensity and supporting their ambitions for energy transitions. Reporting into the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will place a focus on the following areas:
- Prepare and submit data to the Office of National Statistics
- With direction from the senior accountants, assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly closings
- Reconcile and post journal entries (including prepayments and accruals)
- Assisting with ad-hoc duties as and when requested
What we're looking for:
- This position is open to either those who have left school and are interested in a career in accounting, or those with similar experience
- Highly motivated and driven to succeed
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise well
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent IT skills
