You’ll have the freedom to develop at your own pace, the responsibility to take real ownership of your work, and the support of a well-established advisory team that actively champions its people. With flexible hybrid working and a culture built on trust and progression, you can accelerate your career while maintaining a healthy balance.
As an Accounts Senior, you’ll begin shaping your own client relationships while expanding your technical and commercial skill set. This is a role designed to stretch you, exposing you to more complex work, greater responsibility, and the chance to influence how clients run their businesses.
You’ll be supported by experienced managers and partners who want you to succeed, with clear development pathways and the chance to build credibility as a trusted adviser. It’s a role that blends autonomy with support, and delivery with development.
What you’ll do
You’ll take increasing responsibility for a portfolio of SME clients, producing high-quality statutory accounts and supporting clients with day-to-day accounting and advisory needs.
Alongside your technical work, you’ll play an active role in mentoring junior colleagues, acting as a go-to point for questions and helping to guide their development. You’ll work closely with managers to deliver client work efficiently, manage budgets, and contribute to the commercial performance of the team.
As your confidence grows, you’ll start to add value beyond compliance, identifying opportunities to improve client processes and feeding insights into partner-led advisory conversations.
What you’ll need
• Newly qualified ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent
• Experience working in an accounts and business advisory role within practice
• Strong technical grounding with the ambition to develop broader advisory skills
• Confidence working directly with clients and building professional relationships
• A collaborative mindset and an interest in mentoring and supporting junior staff
