The Role
Working with a diverse portfolio of SME clients, you’ll take ownership of key accounting responsibilities while working closely with colleagues to deliver a joined-up, high-quality service.
Your role will include:
- Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders
- Producing management accounts and supporting clients with meaningful financial insight
- Drafting personal and corporate tax computations and submitting tax returns
- Maintaining strong technical knowledge across accounting standards and tax
- Communicating confidently with clients and HMRC, both verbally and in writing
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure clients receive a seamless service
About You
You’ll ideally bring around three years’ experience within an accountancy practice, along with a proactive, client-focused mindset.
You’ll also have:
- Experience preparing FRS 102 and FRS 102 1A accounts
- Exposure to both corporation and personal tax
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
- Confident communication skills and a genuine team-player attitude
- Strong IT skills and a commercially aware approach
