Associate - Competition
Location: Edinburgh / Glasgow (Hybrid)
Salary: £72,500 to £90,000 plus Bonus and Benefits
I'm working with a top tier international firm on an opportunity within their highly regarded Antitrust, Competition & Trade team. This is an opportunity to join one of the largest and most established competition teams in Europe, operating as part of a global network of over 200 solicitors advising on complex, high profile and cross border matters.
The Role
You'll be involved in a broad mix of transactional, contentious and advisory work including:
- Merger control and competition aspects of transactions
- Competition litigation and behavioural advice
- Regulatory and trade matters, including sanctions
- Public procurement and UK subsidy control
- Consumer enforcement and wider regulatory issues
The team works closely with sector groups including Technology, Media, Life Sciences and Energy, with increasing demand for competition support across these areas.
The work is international in scope, fast paced and varied, with regular collaboration across UK and global offices and exposure to cross border matters.
