Associate - Corporate Finance and Investment Funds

Role Overview:
We are currently seeking an Associate to join our Corporate team, focusing on Investment Funds and Corporate Finance. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of transactions involving private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and renewable energy assets. The role will encompass structuring investment funds, including limited partnerships, public companies, and offshore vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on the structuring of investment funds, capital raising, and transactions in financial markets.
- Conduct legal research and draft comprehensive papers for client advice and publication.
- Collaborate with clients to achieve their business objectives while actively participating in efforts to win new work and clients for the firm.
- Work closely with the investment funds team and other specialists, including tax advisors, to deliver holistic solutions.
- Apply analytical thinking and commercial judgment to produce effective results for clients.
- Maintain adherence to information security policies to protect sensitive information.
Person Specification:
- Demonstrated interest and enthusiasm for investment funds and corporate finance.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong drafting and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt communication style to suit diverse colleagues and clients.
- Proactive in personal development and committed to staying current with relevant knowledge.
- Strong research skills and an understanding of client needs to tailor advice effectively.
- Capable of managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the firm's services and a willingness to engage with team members and clients beyond work-related matters.
