Bookkeeper - Glasgow
Full-time | Hybrid
We're seeking an experienced Bookkeeper who is looking to make a real impact.
The task at hand:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero and Sage
- Control Account reconciliations
- Sales and Purchase Ledger maintenance
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Take accounting records from base records to trial balance stage
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Assist with preparation of payroll for selected clients
- Assist with year-end accounts work
The Ideal Candidate:
✓ Knowledge of accounting software (Xero & SAGE)
✓ Experience in a similar bookkeeping role, within a practice environment
✓ Experience with end-to-end payroll (not essential)
✓ The ability to work both independently and part of a team
