Bookkeeper – Accountancy Practice

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our client's established and supportive accountancy practice.

The Role
As a Practice Bookkeeper, you will manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality bookkeeping, VAT compliance, and accounts preparation services.
Key Responsibilities

Provide full bookkeeping services to multiple clients

Prepare accounts to trial balance

Complete and submit VAT returns accurately and on time

Manage CIS returns and monthly submissions

Support financial forecasting and advisory assignments

Ensure all deadlines are met efficiently
Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience within an accountancy practice (essential)

Proven ability to manage bookkeeping for multiple clients

Strong working knowledge of Xero, Sage or QuickBooks

Experience with VAT returns and CIS compliance

Excellent organisational and communication skills
