Business Development Executive (12 month FTC)

£40,000 – 50,000 + Car Allowance and benefits
MDDUS offers comprehensive financial protection and expert support and guidance to the healthcare sector. They protect and support healthcare professionals and organisations through advisory, legal, financial, practice management and risk education services.
Due to their continued growth and customer-centric approach, MDDUS have identified an opportunity for 2 Business Development Executive’s to join their team. One BDE will focus on the medical market in Scotland, the other focusing on the dental market in Scotland and North of England. MDDUS are expanding their service offering, and embarking on an exciting time of change, and investment in new capabilities to deliver new products and services to existing and new customers. The BDE’s will play a key role in growing their business in the South of England.
What will this role involve?
- Delivery of sales versus targets
- Create, build, and deliver on a new business plan for the territory
- Generate and manage leads to achieve expected levels of conversion into membership
- Establish relationships with associations, groups and entities which will help create a valuable pipeline and/or new business.
- Represent MDDUS at relevant local and national events to scope out new business opportunities
- Manage activities, leads & reporting within the company CRM system, to the expected standards
What experience are we looking for?
- Experience working in a business development role, within FS, pharma or similar
- Ability to demonstrate successful creation, development, and conversion of leads
- Sales planning
- Territory management
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional and effective presentation skills
- Self-disciplined, results orientated with commercial acumen and high standards of output
- Professional & effective networking & negotiation skills
- UK Drivers license
