We’re delighted to be partnering with Wallace White, a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice, as they continue to grow their team. They’re now looking for a talented Bookkeeper to join their friendly and collaborative Glasgow office.

The Opportunity
This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of a varied client portfolio. You’ll play a key part in delivering accurate bookkeeping, VAT compliance, and supporting accounts preparation, all while building strong client relationships.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors
- Preparing accounts to trial balance
- Completing and submitting VAT returns accurately and on time
- Handling CIS returns and monthly submissions
- Supporting accounts preparation and wider finance tasks
- Assisting with forecasting and advisory work where required
- Managing deadlines effectively across multiple clients
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice (essential)
- Strong experience managing bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Working knowledge of Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
- Solid understanding of VAT and CIS compliance
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
