Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance Division are delighted to bring to market an exciting Cash Technician vacancy with a highly successful professional services organisation in Glasgow City Centre. with a rich history spanning over 100 years, this organisation have developed a solid reputation with the market, becoming a world leader in their specialism. This role will be on a full-time, hybrid, 12m FTC with a strong likelihood of moving to a permanent role.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, the role of Cash Technician will be to investigate aged, unallocated cash and work to resolve current processes to ensure this is reduced. Key areas of the role will include:

Investigating aged unallocated cash by liaising with brokers and clients across client, third party and underwriter accounts

Review of existing commentary by account handlers and ensure unallocated cash is on correct accounts and coded to identify allocation issue

Ensure account handlers are adhering to policies and procedures and providing feedback where required to individual and senior management

Resolving transactional discrepancies between the organisation and external clients

Provide recommendations to improve management of unallocated cash through process review and root cause analysis

Providing feedback to account handlers on how unallocated cash was resolved vis training
-
Escalation of problem client, third party and underwriter accounts to senior management

Assisting with production of daily and weekly reporting to senior management
To be successful in this role, the following experience is required:
- Strong experience across reconciliations, cash & banking

Ability to analyse data & utilise findings for process improvement

Strong communication skills, both written & verbal

Excellent stakeholder manager skills with the ability to advocate for correct processes to be implemented

Ability to work well within a fast-paced environment
Offering a base salary of up to £35,000 alongside a fantastic benefits package and an excellent working environment.
