Iconic Resourcing are working exclusively with a well-established and innovative brand who are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst to be based in Glasgow City Centre.
The Role
This opportunity is a newly created full time and permanent role and one that will allow the chosen candidate to create their own path to progression as they have exciting future plans. This opportunity will report to the Director of Sales and work closely with the Commercial and FP&A teams.
Responsibilities
- Gather and collate commercial data and report the findings to Senior Sales and Leadership teams.
- Take full ownership of Sales forecasting and report each international sales forecasting model to the global sales teams.
- Be a key member in driving the business to move forward and provide the data that supports future expansion.
- Identify consumer trends across all geographies and use this analysis to compare with competitors.
- Support the sales teams to help them prepare their P&L’s
- Prepare presentations and confidently present the key commercial reports to the Senior Management Team.
- Prepare forecasts that will support any strategic decision making.
- Ad hoc duties including ensuring all processes are efficient and be encouraged to improve these if needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified Accounting Professional with 2-3 years minimum post qualified experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in collating, interpreting and presenting complex data
- Knowledge of commercial finance
- Advanced in Excel and knowledge of Power BI
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
