The Role:
You will manage your own workload, engaging in corporate transactional work and providing company law advisory services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling a diverse portfolio of corporate transactions and company law advisory work.
- Supporting other lawyers, assisting with transactional work and supervising junior colleagues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate an array of transactional and corporate documents.
- Developing individual caseloads within corporate/company law, while
- Support partners on significant matters and larger scale projects.
- Provide counsel to clients across multiple areas.
- Actively participating in business development, client meetings, and maintaining client relationships.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and legal experts.
- Training, mentoring, and developing junior team members.
You:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Ideally 2+ years of experience in private M&A transactions
- Consideration will be given to individuals who have had a minimum of six months experience in corporate who are looking at transitioning into this area of law from other disciplines.
- Scottish or English Qualified Solicitor
- Strong commercial awareness, meticulous attention to detail, and adept drafting skills.
- Self-motivation, critical thinking abilities, and excellent communication,
- Highly organised, strong attention to detail combined with solid analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within national team.
- A methodical, logical approach and dedication to operational excellence and client service.

This is a full-time position however consideration will also be given to part time and flexible working.
