Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance Division are proud to be partnering with one of Scotland's top law firms as they seek to appoint a Credit Controller on a full-time, hybrid working basis from their Edinburgh offices. This role is on an 18m FTC with potential to move to a permanent post. Presence within their Edinburgh office is required once per week, with the remainder providing flexibility to work from home.

Due to an upcoming maternity leave, they are seeking a Credit Controller on an 18m FTC basis who can assist the Finance team in the collection of outstanding funds, ensuring relationships are maintained to the highest standard. Key areas of the role will include:
- Take control of the full credit control cycle for a large portfolio of clients
- Working towards cash collection targets in the effort to reduce outstanding debt exposure to the Group
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing and matching of daily cash receipts
- Investigate any unallocated cash receipts, ensuring quick resolutions
- Identify upcoming problem accounts and recommending these either be escalated to legal or placed on stop
- Preparations of the Daily Aged AR reports
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
To be successful in this role, it's important that you hold the following experience:
- Strong credit control experience within a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop rapport with key stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy skills
- Good IT literacy skills
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Ability to meet set objectives within a fast-paced environment
Offering a competitive base salary of up to c.£28,000, excellent benefits and the potential to move into a permanent post due to the strong levels of growth across the business.
