Are you an experienced Credit Controller available immediately and ready to make an impact from day one?
I'm recruiting for a Temporary Credit Controller to join a busy and well-established engineering business in Uddingston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced finance team and is confident managing their own ledger.
As the Credit Controller, you'll be responsible for:
✔ Chasing outstanding debt by phone and email
✔ Building strong relationships with customers to maximise cash collection
✔ Cash allocation and posting receipts accurately
✔ Issuing customer statements and account reconciliations
✔ Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries
✔ Maintaining accurate customer accounts and supporting month-end activities
We're looking for someone who has:
✅ Previous Credit Controller experience
✅ Strong communication and negotiation skills
✅ A proactive approach to debt recovery and problem-solving
✅ Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
✅ Availability to start at short notice
