Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance Division are delighted to bring to market an exciting Credit Controller vacancy with one of our well-established and highly reputable Insurance Broker clients in Glasgow City Centre. Our client hold a rich history, established over 100 years ago and since building a presence globally, becoming a world leader in their market.
As our client continue to grow and expand, they are seeking a Credit Controller who will liaise with external stakeholders placing a focus on account reconciliation and cash allocations. Key areas of the role will include:
- Liaise with external stakeholders, ensuring their accounts are reconciled in a timeously manner and correct funds are allocated to the accounts
- Working with a high value ledger and high volume portfolio of clients, negotiating payment plans and working to actively reduce aged debt
- Ensure the correct reconciliation and settlement of the ledger balances
- Ensure that any unallocated cash is investigated and resolved with an appropriate outcome
- Follow all company policies and procedures, and ensure the key stakeholders are consistently kept up to date as to the status of their accounts
To be successful in this role, this is what we're looking for:
- Will consider newly graduated candidates with bachelors degrees in Accounting, HND/HNC in Accounting or AAT or candidate who have experience within a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Methodical and analytical approach
- Highly numerate
- Ability to work well within a fast-paced and high volume environment
