Digital Marketing Executive
Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow
Working pattern: Hybrid and flexible working available
We’re supporting an established and ambitious organisation to appoint a Digital Marketing Executive to its collaborative marketing team. This is a varied, hands on opportunity for someone who enjoys combining digital campaign delivery with website management, data and performance analysis. You’ll help deliver activity across SEO, paid search, email, web and CRM, using insight to improve engagement and generate enquiries.
You’ll be responsible for:

Creating, testing and delivering email campaigns, newsletters and event communications.

Managing audience segmentation, automated communications and contact lists.

Supporting integrated campaigns across SEO, paid search, email, CRM and the website.

Carrying out keyword research, on-page optimisation and content updates.

Monitoring website performance and identifying opportunities to improve visibility and engagement.

Updating website pages, landing pages, forms and digital assets through a content management system.

Reviewing campaign and website data across analytics, CRM and search platforms.

Producing regular performance reports with clear, practical recommendations.

Supporting lead-generation activity and helping improve the digital customer journey.

Maintaining high standards of brand consistency, accuracy and user experience.

Contributing ideas to wider marketing and business development initiatives.
We’re looking for someone who has:

Experience in marketing or digital marketing.
-
A marketing related qualification or equivalent practical experience.

A good working knowledge of SEO, PPC, email marketing, websites, CRM and analytics.

Experience using content management systems and email or marketing automation platforms.

The ability to interpret data and translate it into useful actions.

Experience creating or updating website pages, landing pages, forms or email templates.

Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.

Excellent attention to detail and a good eye for design and brand consistency.

The ability to organise competing priorities and manage several deadlines.
-
A proactive, resourceful approach and the confidence to contribute ideas.

Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work with different internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Experience with platforms such as HubSpot, WordPress, GA4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, SEMrush or Adobe Creative Suite would be useful, although experience with comparable tools will also be considered.
Experience within a B2B, corporate or multi-stakeholder environment may be beneficial, but applications are welcomed from candidates across a range of sectors.
