What you will do
You will take the lead on a range of internal audit assignments, ensuring each project is delivered to the highest standards while supporting and developing your team. You will manage an established portfolio of clients, maintain strong relationships and take responsibility for quality and risk management throughout all stages of delivery including contracting, scoping, fieldwork and reporting.
You will lead client liaison meetings, attend audit committees and work alongside senior colleagues to support business development. This will include converting leads into clients, contributing to proposal responses and presenting to prospective organisations. You will also build on your internal and external network to uncover opportunities and strengthen collaboration across service lines.
What you will need
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA with post qualification UK experience
• Confidence managing a wide portfolio of internal audit clients
• Experience delivering internal audits within commercial sectors and handling complex technical matters
• Confidence leading audit committee and client liaison meetings
• Experience reviewing audit planning work and overseeing multidisciplinary teams
• Evidence of contributing to business development and winning new work
