Early Careers Manager

Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to be supporting a global, award-winning law firm who are looking for an Early Careers Manager to join them at either their Glasgow or Edinburgh office on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.
With line management responsibility for a team of three, the Early Careers Manager will have full accountability for the graduate recruitment lifecycle including marketing and events, selection and candidate experience, vacation schemes, diversity and reporting. The key objectives are to ensure that the business is recognised as a challenger brand and a preferred employer in the early careers space.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- Previous experience of managing recruitment campaign planning and delivery as well as high volume candidate management and running candidate pipelines
- Ability to maintain a varied and demanding workload in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding and knowledge of relevant psychometric/assessment tools
- The skills to quickly build rapport with internal and external contacts at all levels with enhanced communication skills, including the confidence to present to large groups
- A willingness to travel to travel (monthly basis)
- Awareness of relevant employment legislation and its application
- Experience of working within a legal/professional services environment
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to:
- Accountability for delivery of the upcoming marketing & attraction campaign for apprentices and trainees along with delivery of the new student recruitment campaign across Ireland
- Working with networks across schools, universities, careers services and student societies to build and maintain positive relationships and to strengthen the brand as well as managing media partner relationships to promote the brand
- Monitor and review the apprentice and trainee selection processes, attend assessment centres, conduct interviews, facilitate wash-up sessions, make offers, manage acceptance and provide feedback throughout the recruitment process
- Lead on the future trainee and future apprentice strategy, planning and implementing trainee and apprentice on-boarding
- Maintain trusted key stakeholder relationships to gain engagement with early careers strategy
