Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a growing business within the tech sector on an exciting Finance Administrator vacancy. Our client has been successfully implementing business software solutions for over fifteen years and is widely recognised as a leader in unifying the business systems of growing organisations, ensuring their clients have the information they need to run their business more profitably.
Our client deliver solutions to clients across the UK, and one of their key success factors is investing heavily in graduates/apprentices/trainees, therefore this role is open to candidates who have recently finished with their studies either through schools, colleges or universities, and will afford the opportunity to develop your knowledge base & skillset within the world of Accounting.
The typical duties within this role will surround:

Purchase and sales ledger duties; processing invoices, raising PO's, allocating sales receipts and allocating cash

Maintaining Contracts and Accounts mailboxes, assisting with the management of the contract system, checking contract creation, checking expired/pending contracts, moving contracts etc.

Manging the contract renewal process lifecylce
-
Assisting with end of month billing and checks for reporting
-
Processing company mileage
-
Processing staff expenses
What we're looking for:

Ideally you will come with some experience of working within an office environment, whether that be from placements, part-time jobs, or previous experience in the above duties

Self-motivated, determined and driven

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Excellent IT literacy - knowledge of MS Excel will be advantageous
-
Good mathematics skills would also be advantageous

Willingness to learn and develop
