Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be supporting a growing business who have recently gone through a period of acquisition in their recruitment for a Financial Analyst. Our client is seeking a fully qualified accountant with a minimum of a year's experience in industry, if qualified in practice. This role will have exposure to many areas of the business and is a very commercial opportunity focused on budgeting, forecasting, analysis and project work alongside monthly reporting duties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Collaborate with various departments to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models. Analyse financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance. Identify areas for improvement and work with stakeholders to implement changes.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted financial results. Investigate and explain any discrepancies to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Cost Control: Work with management to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective cost control measures. Track and report on cost management initiatives.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and making recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and provide decision support to various departments as needed.
Previous Experience:
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant from an ICAS/ACCA/CIMA background with experience in an industry finance role. You will have strong communication and team work skills as well as be an excellent business partner. Excellent Excel skills are a requirement.
