Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance Division are partnering with a highly successful organisation in Edinburgh City Centre as they seek a temporary Finance Assistant on a full-time, hybrid basis.
This growing, exciting business are a prominent Scottish broadband provider and infrastructure developer, who have experienced strong levels of growth since their inception in 2017. Reporting into the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting across the accounts payable and cash & banking functions. Key areas of the role will surround:
• Supporting the daily management of purchase and sales records
• Addressing finance inquiries from customers and suppliers
• Handling invoice processing
• Managing the creditor ledger
• Distributing customer statements and pursuing outstanding debts
• Assisting in reconciling expenses
• Handling the export, analysis, and manipulation of large data sets, particularly in Excel
To be successful in this role, the following experience is required:
• Up to date knowledge of sales and purchase ledger processes
• Experience of acting as the interface between suppliers and colleagues
• Resolving a wide range of queries and issues by phone and email
• Experience in prioritising and working under time pressure to meet deadlines
This role will be on an ongoing temporary basis within their Edinburgh central offices on a hybrid working model. Offering a base salary of up to £27k DOE (pro-rata) alongside a collaborative and supportive team.
