Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance Division are delighted to bring this exciting Finance Assistant 12m FTC vacancy to the Scottish Finance market. Having partnered with a leading global organisation experiencing strong growth, they seek an experienced individual for their Glasgow Head Office on a full-time, hybrid & 12m FTC with potential of extending into a permanent role.

The Finance / Billing Assistant will support completion of client billing activity, with key duties surrounding:
- Prepare draft bills and final invoices, including detailed time summaries and expense schedules
- Handle bill cancellations and issue Credit Notes as necessary
- Generate monthly bill runs for specific clients, adhering to their complex requirements
- Communicate with partners and associates regarding billed and unbilled fees
- Edit time entries and adjust Work in Progress (WIP) as needed
- Maintain client and matter information in the system
- Provide guidance on VAT treatment and ensure compliance with VAT and Solicitor Accounts Rules
- Support billing tasks for UK and Luxembourg, as well as provide global assistance to other finance teams
- Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
To be successful in this role, the following experience is required:
- Experience in a similar role within a legal/professional services sector
- Good understanding of of client requirements
- Capacity to thrive under pressure, managing tight deadlines while exhibiting adaptability as needed for the role
- Methodical and organised work approach
- Keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a confident telephone manner; adept at maintaining tact and diplomacy in high-pressure situations
- Team-oriented mindset, capable of collaborating cooperatively and flexibly with colleagues
