Finance Assistant

I am currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-performing finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is looking to gain hands-on experience in a busy and supportive finance function.

Key Responsibilities
As Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in managing utility-related financial processes, supporting accurate billing and reconciliation activities, and ensuring effective communication with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the Master Utility Coding Sheet to ensure data integrity and consistency
- Performing statement reconciliations between SPVs and utility providers
- Leading and chairing arrears calls with utility suppliers to resolve outstanding balances
- Reviewing utility uploads received from our utilities broker for accuracy and completeness
- Reviewing utility recharge information from the broker to support accurate client recharges
- Auditing suppliers to ensure complete and timely billing is received, identifying any missing invoices or billing gaps that may lead to disputes or disconnections
- Proactively chasing property managers for change of tenancy information to keep records up to date
- Liaising with property managers to collect accurate meter readings and support the resolution of billing queries
