Iconic Resourcing are pleased to be working with our client, a hugely successful and growing International service provider, to recruit a Finance Business Analyst as part of a group wide Oracle Financial implementation programme.
You will have past experience of Change Management, particularly gained within finance transformational project and would also be advantageous to have worked with a large corporate organisation i.e. global manufacturing, financial services, Oil & Gas etc.
Reporting to the Programme Manager, the role sits within the systems stream of the finance transformational programme and forms part of the future Finance Systems Strategy and Roadmap. Key experience and responsibilities are:
- Responsible for facilitating the Consolidation Close system design
- Understand business models and translate to business requirements
- Support the business process change required to implement to all impacted systems
- Develop, maintain and manage key stakeholder relationships with core finance (Group, Ops Finance, Tax, Compliance, Risk etc.), IT, vendors etc.
- Detailed process mapping, to identify and target data issues requiring remediation
- Collate and deliver key management information ensuring easily understood by the Programme Lead, Senior Management and Project committees
Essential experience required:
- Either previous FCCS experience; system implementation for Group Finance or Oracle EMP implementation experience
- Experience of delivering transformation projects within finance functions (either as a consultant or part of in-house delivery team)
- Accounting qualification is desired, but strong understanding of financial consolidation and close accounting concepts
- Understand the impact of the relationship between finance and other functions i.e., IT, Risk, Compliance etc.
You will possess a broad knowledge of both finance processes and systems to be able to interpret findings, establish 'route cause' of issues and recommend remediation actions.
Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate good understanding of the project lifecycle, from requirements to implementation. Ability to work with finance and technology partners and to translate requirements into functional design.
This is an initial 12 month contract, with option to extend. It's offered on a hybrid/remote basis, there may be a requirement to working from office which will be based Glasgow or Edinburgh.
