Iconic Resourcing is proud to be exclusively partnering with a fast-growing, globally recognised consumer brand to appoint a commercially sharp Finance Business Partner into their Marketing function.
This is a rare embedded finance role - sitting inside the Marketing team and reporting directly to the Global VP of Marketing, with a dotted line into the Finance Director. You'll be the financial engine behind every marketing investment decision - owning end-to-end budget management, performance reporting, and commercial insight across a complex, multi-channel, multi-region business.
This role is based 4 days on site, 1 from home.

Responsibilities:
- Own the global Marketing budget, partnering with senior marketers to align spend with strategy and business objectives
- Build and maintain ROI tracking frameworks across channels, campaigns and regions, producing clear weekly and monthly reporting for the wider business
- Deliver detailed budget vs actuals variance analysis, connecting financial spend to measurable commercial impact
- Develop internal reporting capabilities - consolidating complex marketing datasets into a single, decision-ready suite of reports
- Lead monthly budget review meetings with marketing budget holders, challenging assumptions and driving accountability for spend
- Prepare and maintain the Marketing cashflow forecast, ensuring visibility of spend timing and liquidity impact
- Coach non-finance stakeholders on financial thinking - embedding a strong ROI culture across the function
What we are looking for:
Our client is seeking candidates with a strong commercial finance background with experience in an embedded or business partnering role and previous exposure to marketing analytics would be highly beneficial. Accountancy qualification is desirable for this role but not essential. Excellent Excel skills and confident use of data visualisation tools such as Power BI is essential and a working knowledge of Google Analytics and other analytical platforms would be highly beneficial. Strong stakeholder engagement skills are a must as you'll possess the ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate with autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
