Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering with a leading business based in the Hillington area in their search for a Finance Manager. The successful candidate must be a qualified accountant, ideally from an ICAS background though other routes to qualification will be considered. The role is heavily involved in project work so business partnering skills are key to success in this role, and it would be great if this was evidenced in previous experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project accounting and associated busines
- s partnering and controls work.
- VAT compliance, both local and international.
- Preparing financial statements, reports, and analysis on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Monitoring and controlling expenses to align with budgetary goals.
- Implementing financial controls and best practices.
- Review of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collaborating with auditors and tax professionals.
- Providing financial guidance to the executive team for decision-making.
- Evaluating and improving financial systems and processes.
- Ad-hoc reporting for across the business.
Previous Experience
The successful candidate must be a qualified accountant, ideally from practice though industry routes will also be considered for the right candidate. You should have at least 2 years post qualification experience either in industry or practice. Strong business partnering skills are essential as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will be a driven individual, with a desire to grow professionally and personally. Experience in a manufacturing or engineering business would be desirable, but not essential.
