Based in Glasgow, this fast-paced and dynamic role will be focused on managing one direct report, being hands on with all aspects of finance and will help with future growth of the business. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of the business going forward, and in return will offer a clear path for personal development and growth. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies, budgeting, and forecasting to support the business' growth objectives.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, analyses, and performance metrics to the executive team and stakeholders.

Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, optimise working capital, and ensure funds are available for business operations and investments.

Expense Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities, track cost trends, and recommend actions to reduce unnecessary expenditures.

Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards.

Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the small finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making within the company.
Previous Experience
The successful candidate will likely be a fully qualified accountant, but PQ and QBE candidates will be considered if experience criteria is met. Experience in an SME would be highly advantageous, as would experience in the creative sector - i.e. marketing, advertising, PR, media production etc. The successful candidate should be keen to progress their own career but also be a key player in the growth and development of the business. You should have experience in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work with lots of different personalities and varying demands.
