Finance Manager
Glasgow
12 month Maternity Cover
Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnered with our well established client based in Glasgow City Centre as they are looking to welcome an experienced Finance Manager to the team on a 12 month basis due to a maternity cover. This role will support the transactional finance team and report to the Finance Director daily.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s business objectives

Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis and explanations

Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

Ensure accurate and timely financial and management reporting.

Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, including mentoring and professional development.

Collaborate with senior management and other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Maintain relationships with external partners.
Skills and Experience:
-
Accountancy qualified is preferred (If QBE, please still apply!)

Previous management experience

Proven track record in managing financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
