Iconic Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager on a full time, 18 month FTC basis with a high chance of the role being extended to permanent with our client in Glasgow.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are currently in a similar role, who are looking for an exciting new challenge with a great team and company. The successful candidate will support the Assistant Manager and report to the Head of Department. Working as a key member of the finance team to ensure you provide clear and inspirational leadership, responsible for the daily running of a high paced and busy department and are developing your own concepts and techniques to ensure positive execution on the delivery of the transactional finance function.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and support a large transactional Finance team and report to the Head of the Department
- Deliver KPI’s and performance metrics ensuring the division is run as effectively as possible
- Conduct monthly meetings with the team to help and support each member of the team in order to develop their skills and expertise.
- Coach and train Assistant Managers and Team Leaders and ensure there is effective communication in order to ensure all tasks are carried out correctly and in a timely manner
- Identify areas that may need to be improved to generate efficiency in the services and controls and continue to develop these to maintain up to date and relevant for everyone in the team
- Ensuring all documentations are up to date and relevant
- Ensure you and the team comply with the company’s standards in accordance with statutory requirements
- Be a leader and one that continues to drive performance and continue to find ways to improve strategies.
Requirements
- Qualified (ACCA, ICAS, CIMA)
- Have experience in leading and managing large transactional finance teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Experience of operating to strict deadlines
- MS Office Proficient
