With a strong focus on growth, Sign Language Interactions are seeking an experienced Finance Manager on a full-time, permanent basis within their Kinning Park offices on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced candidate to collaborate closely with the Head of Finance in propelling the company's expansion and bolstering its profitability.
As a rapidly expanding organisation, now is an exciting time to join the team and I am delighted to present this role of Finance Manager to the Scottish Finance market. Reporting directly into the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will have the opportunity to manage the finance function processes as well as fully supporting in all finance needs. Key responsibilities are as follows:

Take full responsibility for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and credit control, ensuring timely and accurate processing of high volumes of invoices and adherence to company policies

Manage multiple bank accounts, including daily bank receipt reconciliations and foreign currency transactions

Assist the Head of Finance with the budgets and forecasting

Contribute to the production of monthly management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and other financial analysis

Reconcile intercompany accounts, credit card transactions, and staff expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies

Assist with VAT returns and other regulatory filings, including reporting to HMRC

Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department and collaborate with other departments to enhance overall business operations

Take on ad hoc duties as required, including project work to advance the department or upgrade systems

Work to tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

A proven track record of achieving success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, showcasing the ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure

This role is open to both Part-Qualified and QBE candidates

Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team, while maintaining exceptional communication skills that facilitate effective engagement with stakeholders at all organisational levels

Possesses a strong understanding of accounting principles, complemented by proficiency in Sage/Quickbooks or similar accounting software

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is a critical requirement for excelling in this position

Organised, dependable, and adept at meeting tight deadlines, demonstrating self-motivation and effective multitasking skills

Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and efficiency in all assigned tasks

Previous experience with multi-currency transactions is highly desirable

While not essential, familiarity with deaf awareness is a plus, as training will be provided
