Iconic Resourcing have exclusively partnered with our friends at Klarent Hospitality to appoint a Financial Accountant to their Finance team in Glasgow. This is a brilliant opportunity to join one the largest hotel owners and managers in the UK and Ireland on a full time and permanent basis.
The Role
This opportunity is ideal for a Senior Finance individual who has extensive audit experience either from Practice or Industry and is looking to work for a growing and rewarding company. The successful candidate will be working as a key member of the Finance team and will report to the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities
- The Financial Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the Group
- Preparation of year end statutory accounts (IFRS & UK GAAP)
- Assist Head of Finance and Financial Controller with M&A duties
- Assist on Direct Tax Compliance
- Liaise and communicate with external auditors
- Preparation of month end accounts
- Manage the internal audit process and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Report, analyse and deliver on any potential variances and assist in cashflow management and forecasting
- Additional Ad-Hoc Duties
Skills and Experience
- ICAS Qualified (3 year post qualified experience)
- Practice or Industry background
- Audit background with strong IFRS/UK GAPP
- Corporate tax exposure would be desirable
- Great stakeholder management
- Strong Excel, with basic modelling skills
