FujiFilm are a high growth business and Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be supporting them as they look to add an experienced Financial Controller to report into their Group Finance Director. The purpose of this role is to provide a range of analysis and reporting for management and develop and improve future finance processes and systems. You will also support the finance team and provide training and guidance to ensure efficiency.
Day to day your role will include:
- Contribute to the delivery of the department’s strategic plan and identify and implement areas of improvement in the manufacturing and supply chain accounting processes
- Act as a primary contact for external auditors
- Support and manage a team of 2 (financial accountant and Accounts Assistant) and provide any essential training to ensure efficiency.
- Participate in performance meetings and present financial information accordingly
- Prepare the annual budget and periodic re-budgets (3 per annum)
- Review all monthly management accounts, balance sheet and group/business KPI’s and analyse the forecasted date with functional managers to ensure business objectives are met.
- Generate journal entries and input into SAP based on reporting requirements
- Ensure accuracy in the production al the accounts and their potential variances
- Maintain up to date costing of existing Site products to co-ordinate with the US Finance Team on pricing decisions
- Monitor capital spend at project and site level
- Provide financial performance evaluation and make recommendations for improvement
- Additional ad hoc duties
Who is Iconic Resourcing looking for?
- Fully qualified professional (ACCA, CA, CIMA)
- Extensive experience in Financial Management
- Knowledge of taxation issues (Income Tax, VAP, National Insurance)
- Forecasting, budgeting and financial planning capabilities
- Proven familiarity in all aspects of financial and management reporting - producing monthly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts, reporting to budget holders, reconciliation procedures etc
- Highly effective interpersonal, presentation and communication skills; working with stakeholders at all levels of the business
- SAP and COGNOS experience is desirable
