What you'll do
You'll lead the delivery of sophisticated financial modelling assignments across a range of M&A and restructuring projects, acting as the primary point of contact for clients from project inception through to completion. You'll oversee multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring models are commercially robust, technically accurate, and delivered on time.
Alongside project leadership, you'll manage and mentor a team of analysts, providing guidance, reviewing outputs, and helping to maintain high standards across every engagement. You'll play a key role in resource planning, project execution, and client relationship management, supporting the Managing Director on strategic growth and business development when required. As the team continues to expand, you'll also have the opportunity to influence future hiring and help shape the next phase of the firm's growth.
What you'll need
• Significant experience in financial modelling, ideally gained within a Big Four, consulting, restructuring, corporate finance, or specialist advisory environment
• Strong background supporting M&A, restructuring or transaction-related projects
• Proven ability to lead client engagements and manage senior stakeholder relationships
• Experience mentoring, managing, or developing junior team members
• Advanced Excel modelling skills with a strong understanding of what constitutes best-in-class model design
• Commercial mindset with the confidence to operate independently and make decisions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for clients and colleagues
