Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering with a key client in their search for a Financial Reporting Manager. In this role you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will lead a talented team and collaborate across departments to deliver high-quality financial insights.
Our client is seeking a qualified accountant either from practice at Manager level or from industry in a financial reporting or financial accounting background. On offer is an excellent salary and benefits package including hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Develop and maintain robust reporting processes, systems, and controls to support financial transparency and integrity.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and facilitate audits.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to a high-performing finance team.
- Analyse financial data and present actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial reporting processes and technologies.
Previous Experience
The successful candidate will likely be a fully qualified accountant with experience in audit or financial reporting roles. 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, ideally within professional services or a similar industry is preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and relevant regulatory requirements is required. Previous experience of team management would be a big plus too.
