Move beyond routine audit work into a role where you’ll take real ownership, build client relationships, and accelerate your progression.
You’ll join a growing Financial Services team where you can take the lead on engagements, work closely with experienced Managers, and build your profile within a specialist and increasingly in-demand sector.
This is an environment suited to people who want to step up and take responsibility. You’ll gain hands-on experience managing audits from planning through to completion, while developing your leadership skills and supporting junior team members. With flexible working and a collaborative culture, it’s a role that offers both challenge and balance.
What you’ll do
You’ll manage the day-to-day delivery of audit assignments across a portfolio of Financial Services clients, including investment trusts, VCTs, and wealth managers. You’ll take ownership of planning, fieldwork, and completion, ensuring audits are delivered on time and to a high standard.
You’ll coordinate with Managers on timelines and budgets, identify and escalate issues early, and act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process. Alongside this, you’ll support and mentor Audit Assistants, helping to develop their skills while strengthening your own leadership capability.
What you’ll need
• CA (or equivalent) qualified, or part-qualified with relevant experience
• Experience in audit, ideally within Financial Services or a similar complex environment
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments
• Experience leading audit fieldwork and reviewing work
• Confident communicator with the ability to build client relationships
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff
• A proactive mindset and desire to continue progressing your career
