
Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to be working exclusively with Edrington who are looking to add an HR Assistant to their team on a 6 month FTC basis. The HR Assistant will support and coach line managers on various people matters as well as acting as a shared HR Admin resource for the wider UK HR Team. A generalist role with a focus on recruiting and on boarding, this is a great opportunity for someone to gain greater exposure and experience.
With recruitment and on boarding being a key focus of this role, you will work in close collaboration with the HR team and Resourcing to coordinate recruitment and onboarding as well as off boarding activity. You will work with resourcing to manage and facilitate the induction process, ensuring this remains up to date and relevant. You will also support with Graduate and Internship programmes as well as coordinating work experience placements and other early years programmes.
You will provide administrative support on aspects of the HR function including rewards and benefits, equality, and diversity, learning and development, and policy. You will have exposure to employee relations matters, helping with the organisation and preparation of disciplinaries, taking notes during meetings and at times may be required to support discipline or grievance investigations. You will be involved with rewards and benefits, acting as the first point of contact for all modern family Leave, maternity/paternity, and parental leave, requests managing each case. As well as supporting line managers and colleagues with employee recognition queries and championing this as an approach.
We are looking to speak to HR professionals with strong administration experience. You will have up to date knowledge of employment law. Excellent IT skills with experience of computerised HR systems is an essential requirement. You will be an approachable, enthusiastic, proactive, resilient person with strong organisational skills and ability to plan and prioritise short- and longer-term workload. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence and gravitas to adapt communication style for audience. Ability to cope with a varied workload which can be high volume at times is also essential.
