Functional Specialist – IT Procurement

Iconic Resourcing is proud to partner with a leading organisation in their search for a Functional Specialist to join their IT Procurement team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to strategic sourcing and contract management across Tier 1 technology partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sourcing of IT Services, Hardware, Software, SaaS (Cloud), and support renewals.
- Develop and execute complex contracting and sourcing strategies in collaboration with Category Managers and stakeholders.
- Negotiate with Tier 1 technology partners.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and UK Procurement Legislation.
- Drive efficiencies in sourcing processes and supplier performance management.
- Deliver strategic plans for software renewals to optimise commercial value.
Required Experience
- Proven IT procurement expertise.
- Strong knowledge of IT contracts, especially SaaS and outsourcing/managed services.
- Experience negotiating with Tier 1 tech vendors.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Proficient Oracle experience
