Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering with our client, a leading professional services organisation in their search for a Global Head of Order to Cash. We are looking for a highly experienced finance leader to take ownership of our client's end-to-end Order-to-Cash function. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a global O2C function, driving high performance across all teams and disciplines
- Define and execute O2C strategy aligned to working capital objectives and broader business goals
- Set and monitor key metrics — DSO, cash collection, unapplied cash, overdue debt — and own the improvement agenda
- Produce executive-level reporting on cash flow, debt KPIs, collections performance, and ageing
- Forecast global cash collections and partner with Treasury on cash optimisation strategies
- Oversee month-end close activities including invoice generation, reconciliations, and revenue file accuracy
- Build and implement a controls and risk framework across the global O2C function
- Drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives at scale
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, globally, across Sales, Operations, and Finance
Previous Experience
- 8–10+ years of senior experience in O2C, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Operations - ideally in a global environment and significant element of that experience at leadership level
- Proven leadership of large, multidisciplinary finance teams with measurable impact on culture and performance
- Strong track record of delivering large-scale change and process improvement
- Deep working capital and cash flow expertise, with the ability to translate data into executive insight
- Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills - comfortable at C-suite and Board level
- Strong ERP and financial systems knowledge; awareness of automation and technology trends
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred; B2B experience an advantage
- Full ACCA/CIMA/ICAS or equivalent qualification is desirable, but previous experience is more important for our client
This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership position with the scope, visibility, and succession pathway that most finance professionals spend their careers working towards. If you have the ambition and experience to match, we want to hear from you.
