This newly created Head of Digital role offers the opportunity to shape the future of digital across the business. Reporting to the CIO, you will lead and evolve the marketing function, developing a high-performing team and creating the capability needed to deliver McQueens' ambitious growth plans.
You'll bring together ecommerce, web, performance marketing, CRM and customer experience, ensuring every digital touchpoint contributes to customer growth, engagement and retention. Combining strategic leadership with a hands-on approach, you'll play a key role in accelerating digital performance and helping McQueens become a truly digital-first organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive online customer acquisition through data-led performance marketing, optimisation and growth initiatives.
- Develop and oversee digital acquisition strategies across paid channels, ensuring efficient CPA, ROAS and marketing effectiveness.
- Oversee ecommerce performance, ensuring a seamless customer journey that maximises conversion and revenue.
- Strengthen customer retention, subscription performance and lifetime value through effective CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies.
- Leverage customer, marketing and commercial data to identify growth opportunities and improve decision making.
- Establish meaningful performance metrics and reporting frameworks to measure channel effectiveness, acquisition costs and return on investment.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in a senior digital, ecommerce, growth or performance marketing leadership role.
- Experience leading and developing digital marketing teams, creating capability and driving high performance.
- A track record of delivering online customer acquisition, revenue growth and customer retention.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce, CRO, CRM, digital acquisition and customer journeys.
- Experience managing or overseeing performance marketing activity with an understanding of metrics such as CPA, CAC, ROAS and marketing ROI.
- Experience within subscription, recurring revenue or customer lifecycle-led businesses would be highly advantageous.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels, with the ability to turn ideas into results.
- A collaborative and influential leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys driving change.
