Iconic Resourcing is proud to be working with Enable, a leading values-led and pioneering organisation advocating for the human rights of disabled people in Scotland, across the UK and internationally, to appoint an exceptional Head of Marketing and Communications.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead the strategic direction of marketing and communications for an organisation that is guided by the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD), and is committed to making those rights a reality for every disabled person.

Since its creation over 70 years ago, Enable has grown to become one of Scotland’s leading employers, with around 3,000 colleagues, and growing each year as its impact and influence reaches further.

As Head of Marketing and Communications, you will play a critical role in shaping and amplifying Enable’s voice across Scotland, the UK and internationally. You will lead the development and delivery of a bold, insight led strategy that enhances brand visibility, strengthens stakeholder engagement and clearly communicates the impact of Enable’s work.

This is a truly unique leadership role, ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands on delivery and thrives in a fast moving high profile purpose-driven environment.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Developing and delivering a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy and operational plan aligned to organisational objectives
• Leading brand development and ensuring clear, consistent, engaging accessible and inclusive messaging and marketing materials across all channels
• Overseeing digital, media, PR, events and internal communications activity
• Communicating Enable’s impactful campaigns that raise awareness, influence policy and support income generation
• Leading and developing a high performing marketing and communications team,
  building strong relationships with senior leaders, external partners and media stakeholders
• Using data, insight and analytics to evaluate performance and inform future strategy
• This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership capability and a deep understanding of how powerful storytelling, backed by data and evidence, can drive social change.

You’ll bring:

• Proven senior experience in marketing and communications within an organisation of similar size and scale
• A track record of developing and implementing successful multi-channel strategies and plans
• Strong brand, digital and campaign management expertise
• Experience leading, managing and inspiring teams
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to operate at executive level and handle press and media relationships
• A genuine and demonstrable commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion
