Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be working with McGill’s in their search to appoint a Head of Marketing, who will join their senior leadership team to drive their brand and marketing strategy.
The Role
Reporting into the Group Service Delivery Director, you will carry out an audit on the current marketing performance, then design and deliver multichannel marketing campaigns. Managing both marketing and customer service functions, you will be McGill’s brand ambassador, creating quality campaigns to attract new business and ensuring their varied target audience have the best customer journey.
The Head of Marketing will not only be responsible for creating a new and innovative marketing strategy, they will also deliver much of it themselves. We are looking for someone who has experience in creating on and offline content, branding, as well as engaging with customers face to face. They will be managing a 6 figure budget with complete autonomy, so you won’t be expected to do this single handed! But, we are looking for someone who can turn their hand to most things. They will line manage two customer service reps, who answer any online or phone enquiries into McGill’s Head Office.
The Ideal Candidate
This is a great opportunity for a generalist marketing manager, who is looking for complete autonomy over a large B2C brand. We are looking for someone who has circa 5 years experience at Marketing Manager level, who has multichannel experience and can demonstrate excellent campaign management experience. We also need someone who is a great leader and can build a team, and someone who enjoys a face to face role, engaging with the public.
You will be out of the house every day. You will be spending time at the head office in Greenock alongside your team, as well as visiting depots across west of Glasgow and Dundee. Work patterns are flexible, but we do need this person to be engaging with the business and their customers, this won’t suit someone who wants to be predominantly home based.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a basic salary between up to £45,000 dependant on experience, plus additional benefits.
