Iconic Resourcing HR are working with a traditional family run Jewellers in Glasgow who are looking to add an HR Administrator to their team. The HR Administrator will be responsible for providing full administrative support for the HR function across the business. They will also support the senior management with PA duties too.
With a focus on employee onboarding, you will be responsible for undertaking pre-employment checks such as right to work and references. In addition to, handling all contractual administration (new hires, contract amendments) ensuring these are updated in conjunction with the payroll department.
You will also, support the recruitment process, utilising the most effective channels to attract the best candidates and talent in line with the needs of the business.
The PA responsibilities will include support colleagues and management by booking travel and hotel stays, compiling colleagues’ expense claims, passing to the account department, and looking after visitors coming into the head office.
We are looking to speak to candidates with strong organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively. Although previous HR involvement is not essential, experience working with sensitive information and being privy to confidential discussions and managing this discretely is essential. Recruitment experience would be advantageous. The role offers great benefits such as studying for a CIPD qualification or Jets qualification.
