HR Administration Team Lead

Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to support Menzies Distribution as they seek to add an HR Administration Team Lead to their HR function following a recent internal promotion.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator to take the next step in their career within an organisation that continues to enhance the HR function and invest in new technology. With the responsibility of two HR Administrators, the HR Administration Team Lead will oversee an efficient and effective service and support the team in delivering a first-class customer experience.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
- A high-level understanding of HR issues, process, and procedure together with knowledge of statutory requirements.
- Knowledge and understanding of HR Administration.
- The ability to foster positive working relationships and deal with sensitive issues with discretion, empathy, and respect.
- Prior track record of providing excellent customer service.
- Line management experience.
- Good working knowledge of HR Software, preferably Midland HR iTrent software.
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to:
- Oversee a customer focused administrative/transactional function that meets SLA's and KPI's.
- Champion the work of the team to ensure efficiency and quality in the delivery.
- Maintain accuracy of all HR systems data, ensuring all employee changes are made in a timely and accurate manner.
- Respond to and action all HR transactional queries within agreed SLA timelines, escalating to relevant HR colleagues and line managers where appropriate.
- Provide administrative support for on-boarding and benefits, long service and recognition schemes.
