HR Advisor, 12-month FTC

Glasgow (hybrid working)

Full time (flexibility with start/finish times)

£34,000 - £43,000 depending on experience

Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to be working with Edrington as they look to recruit an HR Advisor to provide support to their Finance, Legal, Technology, Corporate Affairs, Malts and Brugal UK business units on a 12-month FTC to cover modern family leave.

Reporting directly into the Head of HR, you will support and coach Line Managers to deliver their people plans, supporting with PDR’s, objective setting, development planning, succession planning to ensure performance if effectively managed and every employee has a development plan in place to support growth. You will also support in the execution of plans to increase employee engagement, through insight from our engagement surveys.

The HR Advisor will advise and coach managers on workplace or employee relations issues, supporting with investigations and the handling of grievance and disciplinary matters. You will support on change management activities and work with the relevant stakeholders to manage end to end processes throughout the employee lifecycle. As well as this, you will work closely with both Hiring Managers and the Resourcing team to attract and retain the best talent, ensuring job descriptions and properly written, accurate and graded.

Part of the role will require you to ensure all data required for payroll is processed accurately and on time, working closely with Reward and line managers, responding to any initial reward related queries and referring where necessary. You will also support with the job evaluation process and liaise with reward to action salary and job grade benchmark requests.

We are looking to speak with experienced HR Advisors who have solid knowledge of employment legislation, who are approachable, enthusiastic, proactive and who have excellent problem-solving skills. You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise a busy and varied workload. It goes without saying you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to adapt communication style for audience and be able to influence at all levels.
